Cades Cove Bicycle Rentals

One of the most popular ways to explore the Cades Cove loop road is on a bicycle.  There is simply no better way to get close to the natural beauty of the cove and its wildlife than on a bike.  You will have the opportunity to feel the wind in your face, enjoy the mountain breezes, and small the lush landscape outside the confines of an automobile.  You will also have e advantage of an unencumbered view.  It is truly a different experience on a bike.

For those who are looking for this experience, there is an outside bike rental facility.  Cyclist don’t even have to bother with bringing their own bike thanks to this convenient option.  Safety gear is recommended for all riders, but is mandatory for those under 16.  Of course all of the safety equipment is available at the bike rental facility, so no worries there.

Don’t have a bike of your own, rent one. Fuji cruiser bikes are available for adults and children.

Cades Cove Bicycle Rates 2022

15 and under: $10.00 per hour

Adults (16+): $15.00 per hour

24 hour rental: $60.00 per day

Group Rates:

• 4-6 People: 5% off
• 7 or more: 10% off

Last Rentals go out no later than 3:00pm

Reservations are available by phone for bike rentals on Wednesdays. We will reserve up to 10 groups. Must be here by 7am. Payment required for reservations. No refunds. No same week reservations. 48 hours or more cancellation notice.

In addition to the advantages of riding in the open-air, choosing to ride a bike will leave no footprint on the park.  You will also find that riding a bike will allow you to see more of the indigenous wildlife as your approach will be much more quiet.  Further, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park offers privilege to those who choose to pedal rather than drive.  From the second week of May until the end of peak season, the park closes traffic to automobiles on Wednesday and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. Until 10:00 so that bike riders have the loop to themselves.  Imagine 3 hours of nothing but the quite enjoyment of a bike ride around the loop.

Make sure that you are wearing clothing that is appropriate for bike riding and the weather conditions. Closed toed shoes and high visibility clothing are recommended.
